I was acknowledging the state of things, yes. It's no longer a case of no-support. It's a situation where code is posted that can't be built. mavenCentral made the breaking changes today, so I'm sure this will come up again and again. If the answer is, "You're out of luck,", better to make it official and pull the code from the site.
With forced-compliance of HTTPS for jcenter and mavenCentral, older versions of forge can no longer be built. I'm aware that they have been deprecated and there is no support for working within those environments. However, the code is still provided on this site and it's not usable. Are there any plans to address this or is it the end of the road for integrating older mods and targeting older versions?
