    Minecarf Forge for Java edition wont open

    Hi guys, I recently got Minecraft Jave Edition and have been trying to add mods. To do this l downloaded Forge for the latest release of the game (1.15.1) and tried to open it. When I double-clicked on the program it gave me a list of ways to open it (adobe acrobat, internet explorer, notepad etc). From here l didn't know what to do so l searched up how to help but on all the demonstrations they just double-clicked on Forge and it opened up. I looked through and couldn't find any Minecraft related way to open forge. I have been trying for two days now and nothing will work. Please help. Thanks.
