  1. An administrator's password is required to install Java.
  2. I guess this was a meaningless discussion...
  3. No Java runtime present, requesting install.
  4. I'm not sure how to do that, but I tried placing the file into the terminal and got the permission denied.
  5. The settings on my computer, a Mac OS, dictate that I cannot install applications from unidentified developers. This is unchangeable as it requires an administrator's password to change. Typically, with unidentified developers, I can take the contents of it and place it in a new folder before adding the .app extension. However, due to the nature of the .jar files, it's not possible to do this with the installer. So, what I would like to know if I could somehow bypass this so that I could use Forge.
