    Found my issue, i was trying to install a now antiquated version of forge, when using 1.15.2's installer it worked fine. Thanks for being willing to help though!

    Hey so- I'm trying to download mincraft forge 1.15 on my laptop. I have one main problem, everything works up until I get the installer. I choose the correct place to install the program and it begins to install, but nothing happens because it gets stuck "Unpacking packed file akka-actor_2.11-2.3.3.jar.pack.xz" and won't install pass that point. There is no error message, and it's just stuck in this purgatory so to speak. Any help would be wonderful!
