Wait, ive just look at the whole logs thing, and is it just a minecraft thing? Because the problem is that forge won't download. It has nothing to do with minecraft.

I have been, its not working, im almost out of options. If I figure out how ever to show you the logs, would you still help?

Yea, this doesn't seem to be working either. What I meant by command to install it, was that there is a command you can type into Terminal to install forge, I just dont know it.

Can you give me a link to download Java? I dont have that installed.

Why don't you guys support older versions? That doesn't seem to make sense to me. The mods I want to use are not available on newer versions than 1.12.2. Could you give me the command to download forge for Mac's Terminal?

Ill need some help, im not sure what a installer log is, or how to provide it.

Im trying to install mods for my little brother, and know how to do so. But Forge won't install. Once I click install, it says something along the lines of "unpacking packed file akka-actor_2.11-2.3.3.jar.pack.xz". Does anyone know how to fix this? It doesn't do this on my computer, just the one im using now. This is for Mac btw.
