It isn't a traditional CTD crash, but trying to load the Forge profile results in an endless loading screen. It flashes in between a corrupted start menu and the loading screen. I use the recommended version, Minecraft 1.15.2, and Java 8. Mods, no mods, the Forge profile won't finish loading. I'm certain it worked once before because all of its folders are in my directory but I gave up on messing with it for about a month and can't remember what might have happened. I've reinstalled Minecraft, Forge and Java but that didn't do anything. I don't have anything else like Optifire or whatever. Is that something I should have? Basically, I don't have the patience for this and I spent long enough trying to figure out where the Minecraft directory even was for troubleshooting and I'm ready to delete forge altogether because it hasn't done anything ever and it's really annoying watching everyone else run around with cool mods that I just can't use.
I don't know how to find crash logs.
I don't know if the game even realized it crashed.
I've had to ALT+F4 out of the strobing abyss every time.
The corrupted loading screen can't be interacted with.
Regular Minecraft profile works flawlessly.
I don't know what else to tell you because I don't know how this API works at all and that's all I know and can explain.
