    forge wont install (mac) 1.12.2

    Whenever I try to open the installer, it begins the installation and then stops at "unpacking packed file akka-actor_2.11-2.3.3.jar.pack.xz" and I can't seem to fix it no matter what I do. How can I fix this?? Also, pleasee dont just send me a link to a google search, I've been searching how to fix this in every possible variation of words for a week now, nothing's working.
