A few days ago i made a thread titled "my modpack keeps crashing". And that title was pretty self explanatory. But the response i got told me that 1.12.2 is no longer supported. and i just wanted to ask some questions.
1. Does that mean forge 1.12.2 will no longer run? (Every-time i launch 1.12.2 it launches in 1.14.4 so that's why i'm asking)
2. If it isn't shutdown could i still get help? i know it's asking a lot but I've been working on this thing non stop for like a fucking week and it sucks to see it not even work and have all that effort thrown down the drain
3. (this question is only if forge 1.12.2 is actually shut down) Why is it shut down in the first place? I get that it's old but that wouldn't make much of a difference. obviously it wouldn't be updated anymore but you could still help people using 1.12.2 the same as anyone who uses 1.14.4 etc. And also forge 1.12.2 has the most mods available for it and quite frankly the most popular and cool mods. it's the most downloaded version and most used version too I think. It's the version that bought minecraft modding to life and the version everybody loved 1.12.2 and cherished it through their childhood much like me. Idk i'm just some random guy so i obviously don't have much say, but it think i speak for the community when i say that that change sucks.
thanks for listening to my ted-talk
