I don't think 1.2.2 is supported on the form anymore, they ask you to just update. I'm not sure about questions 1 and 3.

Hey! Hope everyone is doing well. Just started getting back into using modded minecraft, and stumbled into a problem. Whenever I try to craft something (In a single-player world), the item does not show up. I know the recipe is correct, and all the items are there on creative.
