After discussing my problem with a few other people, I can safely say that you are totally correct. Thanks for your help!

I tried to install a custom modpack to play on a friend's server but whenever I join the server or even create a new world in Singleplayer I get a hs_err_pid crash report that says it "Failed to write core dump. Minidumps are not enabled by default on client versions of Windows." I didn't understand what was going on and from what I could find online I went and updated Java, made sure drivers were up to date and even eventually went through all my mods to see if that was an issue. I ended up discovering that the mod "Ender Storage" caused my crash. I can't find anything on the mod's issue tracker about this so I wanted to check here if its a problem with my forge or java directly? I also am not sure if it's the mod itself because as I mentioned all my friends on the server (about 6 others) have the same modpack and configurations. Is this just a incompatibility with the mod and my pc? Or am I missing something with forge/java that I didnt get fully up to date? To note, I am on a new pc so I wouldn't be surprised if I missed updating something important. I just really need the help as I am out of ideas and looking at threads online are running thin.
