  1. try thaumcraft, enderio, projectE, and dreconic evolution. all of them are generally bigger singular mods so you might be wanting to run only one or two, id recommend ProjectE, EnderIO, and Thaumcraft all together makes for a really fun game
  2. okay first of all, im so sorry i just got a pc recently and am not very good at navigating it, im very new to this and im sorry if i ask "stupid questions" i have minecraft forge version 1.12.2-forge1.14.23.5.2847 and i can open the launcher just fine, i can launch vanilla just fine but when i try to launch the forge version even with no mods in the mods folder the loading bar starts and says preparing then goes away after half a second, its a quick flash of the loading bar on the screen. when i open task manager it says my java is running and my minecraft launcher is running but neither are on the screen. sorry if thats not enough information, i dont know what else to say so far
