    Game not Loading with Twitch Mod Pack

    Hey, Sorry if posting wrong place but I'm so confused. I downloaded Minecraft from the website then via Twitch Desktop, installed JAVA and set my ram. I downloaded HR: New Beginnings mod pack from Twitch and whenever I click play the launcher loads up but then where the play button is located it just says loading? To the right it says Welcome, (Username) Loading versions... What am I missing? What have I done wrong? Please help! Also should I even be using the Twitch Desktop app? Or should I just manually add mods to the mods folder in Forge and just do it this way?
