    my friends can join my modded mc server but i can't

    my friends can easily join my modded minecraft server on their first try but whenever i try to log into my own server, it loads for like 30 seconds, shows the logging in and loading terrain screen but then kicks me out. on the server console, it says that i joined the game but then it says i lost connection and timed out. how do i fix this? i already changed the max tick time in the server.properties to -1 and i added Dfml.readTimeout=512 to the actual command file.
