    forge brings to another window after download

    Hi! so today I was trying to download minecraft forge (note that I didn't have java back then) so I downloaded forge and it gived me a option which browser I should open it up. after I found out that I didn't have java I downloaded it but now after I downloaded forge it just kept opening on the broswer that I chose and kept telling me to download again. I am not sure how to fix that.
