    Server closes after a few seconds

    Hi everyone! So, I have a forge server for me and my friends that was working for a while. I have not been on it in a while, but we wanted to go on again today. When I tried opening the universal.jar file, nothing happened. I remembered I had a similar issue with a different .jar file, so I installed the newest version of java on my computer. Now, the server will open but close after a few seconds. I have not touched the files since we had last been on, same minecraft version, same mods, same world everything. I tried taking out the mods and the world and it still did not work so it's not an issue with those. I don't know how to get a log of what the server says before it closes, but I can get it if there's a way. Thank you in advance!
