One of my friends on my discord server told me to uninstall minecraft and try to see if it'll work if I installed it again

So earlier I posted a thing about my 1.12.2 + 1.7.10 not working. So I'm trying to do a youtube roleplay and I need versions 1.12.2 to work as well as 1.7.10.
