I was playing minecraft and was going to go into my modded world on 1.12.2, but when I saw that it had loaded 4 mods, I looked at which they were and my mods werent there. This had worked in the past, but when I even redownloaded forge for another minecraft version and re downloaded the mods for that version it did the same thing
