I've been tryig to download some mods recently and youtube led me to forge which I have used previously but It was years ago since. I downloaded forge and set it up but when I put the mods in the mods folder nothing happened even after I restarted my mc, I googled the error and some dude on a forum told someone else that he probably had the wrong minecraft folder. But when I tried changing the game directory I realized that I was missing a lot of folders compared to my other minecraft folder and it said that I was missing a launcher profile when trying to installl forge on my hdd minecraft (because I have both a ssd and a hdd so I probably have the first installation of minecraft on my hdd and the second one on my ssd). I'm thinking about if I should just uninstall minecraft and install it again, if that would fix the problem buy i'm not sure so that's why im asking on here first and i'm sorry in advance if I choose the wrong forum or something like that.
