  1. I've tested it and it seems to be running fine with the removal of mekanism matter. thanks for the help!!
  2. That's what I was fearing I'll try to remove it and hopefully the world is still playable without the mod and doesn't leave any missing blocks and whatnot
  3. I have been using 100% of my brain power to try to get this darned server to run. I am running forge version 1.16.5 v36.1.0 with a modpack that I have made tweaks to and added mods to called Better Minecraft. I am running linux mint cinnamon on an older computer I had lying around. It's fairly decent and not too outdated. It's a gaming pc so i have no doubts that the hardware is my limiting factor. I've tried googling specific strings from my crash logs to no avail and I desperately am calling for help. I usually figure out my error without having to make a forum post but this one is just too difficult to unravel for me. here is the gist of my debug.log: https://gist.github.com/Phsiic/34cc7a7cb67139b14f5dce8c9a843f1f this exact issue happens when i try to run the server using command "java -jar forge.jar", even when using argument "--safeMode" I have not installed any datapacks, only mods and I don't know why it prompts me to fix or revert to vanilla in regards to datapacks. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks - phsiic

  5. thank you! i will try this right now.
  6. hi, I'm running the latest version of Ubuntu. I tried to install a Minecraft forge server running 1.14.4 forge version 28.2.0. everything went well and i got to the stage where you set the eula to true. That's when my issues began. I ran the minecraft (vanilla) jar using the following command in the terminal: java -jar (insert name of the minecraft jar here) and yes, i made that () to make it easier to read. i inserted the actual minecraft jar without parentheses. it ran perfectly well and i even got onto my minecraft installed on the same machine and joined using localhost. after seeing everything was fine in vanilla i quit minecraft and tried to launch the forge version in the exact same way (keep in mind there are no mods in the mods folder) which is when i got the following output: https://pastebin.com/wPvrqkKL PLEASE HELP IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING THAT MIGHT HELP!! this is driving me crazy seeing as i used this exact same jar file on my windows computer and successfully ran a forge server even with the mods installed and tested it on localhost with no issues. thanks for the help!!
