    i am using the cracked mineshafter launcher. but in the past it worked so idk why it doesnt work now

    i downloaded 1.15.2 forge to try and put in some mods. the forge client says it "successfully installed forge client " but when i open my launcher i cant find the forge-1.15.2 version or anything like that. when i check the versions folder i see that only a .Json file has been generated but i think that it should be a .Json and a .Jar file right? i tried to exrtact the forge-1.15.2.jar and put it into the folder it would not work. i tried deleting the launcher-profiles.Json and reinstalling the .minecraft folder, however nothing would work.
