  1. in the versions folder
  2. i understand how this might sound out of context, but i need to know if you need an executable jar file along with a .json file in order to run forge
  3. so you do not need a jar file to run forge?
  4. Also, why aren't the other versions working? I need these versions for mods. 1.12.2 worked for a little, then i guess it stopped working
  5. Explain? I'm don't really know that much about this
  6. I install Forge 1.10.2, and i try to run it, and the game says an error occurs and the game crashes. The same happens with 1.12.2 and 1.8.9 forge. I looked in the versions folder and it shows to only have a .json file. Two versions of forge i have work, though, 1.7.10 and 1.16.1. Both of those have and executable jar file and a .json file. What can i do?
  7. Wait what do i do i have the same problem???

  9. I have a problem too. If i install a forge version and load it to launcher, it will show up in profiles and i can set it up. However, when i try to run it, it crashes. I have tried 1.8, 1.8.9, and 1.10.2. In their file folder, each have a .json file, but the only one that works (1.7.10) has both a json, and an executable jar file that allows minecraft to run the version of forge. What can i do to get 1.10.2 jar file?
