    Forge 1.12 won't open

    I used to think that things like technic launcher were the only way to play mods but when I learned forge was a thing I jumped on it, but it won't open, It is an option to run in the minecraft launcher, but nothing happens after I click play, I have left it overnight and had no results, what do I do?
