Thank you for responding, I downloaded forge yesterday. Was there a patch between then and now?

Im running Forge on a MacOS and I have tried forge with and without mods. After each attempt this error code pops up in the launcher: The game crashed whilst initializing game Error: java.lang.ClassCastException: net.minecraftforge.fml.ModLoadingStage$$Lambda$3094/157971930 cannot be cast to net.minecraftforge.fml.ModLoadingStage$EventGenerator Exit Code: 255 The stuff that appears before it crashes at the bottom left says " completed deep scan of forge...... client completed deep scan of forge...... universal " Numbers are there i just couldnt be bothered to type them out. thank you
