Ok looks like its working now! i was just stupid and downloaded the wrong version lol. thanks!

Looks like the problem is still happening, i have now installed the mods on a safe website, and i have loaded forge without mods, loads fine. but when i load it with even a single mod in, it crashes either with a " The game crashed whilst rendering overlay Error: java.lang.NullPointerException: Rendering overlay Exit Code: -1 or a Exit code 0 error. heres the new debug.log i think. debug.log

So i have been running on the latest version of forge 1.16.1, and i have been running optifine, plus a few other mods (about 16) I have been able to launch the game fully, however whenever i try to load or create a world i get stuck on the loading screen, then when it reaches 100%, i do not load into the world. instead, i am just stuck on the loading screen. the game is still responding as it doesn't force me to exit, however, it doesn't allow me to exit the game. I have tried to exit from taskbar, and also Alt F4 and it wouldn't exit. I only figured out i have to force crash the game from task manager. I've tried lowering the render distance, getting rid of mods, completely uninstalling and reinstalling the .minecraft folder, and re-downloading forge. but the problem still persists. I have tried the same mod list and version of forge on a computer with lower hardware specs than the one i'm trying to run it on, and it does work. So i believe it is a software issue. Edit:Actually now, i can even load forge, It is saying that "the game crashed whilst rendering overlay" So is there any solutions to this problem?
