    It is a Microsoft edge Jar file so it will go into a tab with internet explorer and will ask if I want to save it, and no matter what I press it will not go into the forge application and yes I have java in correctly, I've been using forge for years.

    Its simple... I cannot install 1.13.X versions of forge because there is no installer-win which I need to install stuff because other wise it turns into a jar file If you have a solution please speak up Thanks in advance
