    well, i had mods on the client i was using. this issue ALSO happens on my other forge client which has NO mods at all.

    So playing on Minecraft, hopped onto my server that runs 1.16.1 ViaBackwards, and then when I joined, I felt lightning is cool. So I summoned it, IT IS INVISIBLE!!! Here is proof! I have no mods.
