(1.16.4) Forge Installer not starting at all, only creates a log file
IT WORKED! WOW! Thank you so much! Funny thing is, a lot of my other apps weren't working too like ExpressVPN but now I can reopen it, so this is really important information. I was literally looking everywhere and even on the verge of resetting my PC because of this. You're a legend. Tysm !!! ๐

(1.16.4) Forge Installer not starting at all, only creates a log file
So after reinstalling Java like 5 times, I reinstalled it through a manual download which seemed to give me a glimmer of hope. I tried to start up the installer and I got the same log; BUT with an hs_err_pid file. Here's the pastebin of what was in the file: https://pastebin.com/kaNktKqu

(1.16.4) Forge Installer not starting at all, only creates a log file
Somewhat related but I can open my run.bat for my Minecraft server but not the server.jar itself. Really strange... Still looking for a solution.

I don't see any of those files next to the installer, then again I'm not sure if I should check any further ๐

(1.16.4) Forge Installer not starting at all, only creates a log file
I have what seems to be I guess every version with some extras. The forge versions I have there are old and installed when it was previously working. The versions I deleted were two 12.2 forge builds.

(1.16.4) Forge Installer not starting at all, only creates a log file
Hey, Randomly, after trying to reinstall forge after deleting some of inactive versions I used, it started to act really strange. Every time I would open the latest 16.4 installer, it wouldn't budge; yet it would create a log file which I'm assuming is a crash file. It reads as... JVM info: Oracle Corporation - 1.8.0_271 - 25.271-b09 java.net.preferIPv4Stack=true Found java version 1.8.0_271 Not even a black window pop-up, just that log file. I really wish I could add any extra detail but it's literally just that. Here's what I've tried so far: Reinstalling Java and JDK Trying different launcher versions Tried opening with CMD (When I did, it showed the log file text.) Downloaded jarfix (Did nothing to fix the issue at all ๐) Restarted my PC Updated Windows 10. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
