    Tried installing forge, but when I open the file, it just opens the minecraft launcher

    I've downloaded java, updated it and everything, but every time I try and download forge, the file just opens minecraft instead of the page where you click install client. I've also tried checking the profiles in the bottom left but there isn't one named forge.
