ok, so I'm new to forums, but @/DaemonUmbra helped me a bit, but is not online right now, and I don't know if them responding counts my problem as resolved, or people just aren't seeing my post... anyway when I open forge installer this random console opens, then closes immediately (unless I click it) and nothing happens after it closes, so what should I do?

Oh, I’ve never noticed a file, so either it’s not there, or I am blind (more likely) I’ll check tomorrow. Thanks for all your help today!

whenever I try to download forge, this window pops up for a fraction of a second (unless I click it, then it stays) and forge doesn't install. please help me with my stupidity!
