  1. it still doesnt work, though when i tried running vanilla again i got a new error message never seen before here are the logs if this helps at all https://hastebin.com/icozaqafak.properties
  2. so do i just run the forge installer again to reinstall forge?
  3. so what action do you suggest i take? if you have any idea whats going on
  4. i thought it might be a java problem since even after i reinstall minecraft its still happening. none of my friends have encountered this problem. but even after i reinstalled java its not working
  5. regarding the vanilla version crashing: sometimes it crashes, sometimes it doesnt. i just tried launching it again and it seemed to work. for now.
  6. i also tried running vanilla before i used the installer and it works fine however, after i did that, even vanilla isnt launching
  7. this is the log after i uninstalled, reinstalled minecraft, then downloaded and ran the forge installer again, and still crashing. didnt put my mods back in so this is just forge https://pastebin.com/HTaxd5PG
  8. and now it doesnt work even with optifine removed

I only started using forge today, so the three mods i have installed are: Optifine Xaeros minimap Xaeros world map Forge runs fine if i remove Optifine from the mod list, but why would this happen in the first place?
