  1. Hi there, I am trying to draw some text in the bottom left of the screen but whenever i do this then it will mess up the hotbar display making it impossible to tell what health and hunger you have. My hud class public class HUD { FontRenderer fr = Minecraft.getMinecraft().fontRendererObj; @SubscribeEvent public void draw(RenderGameOverlayEvent.Pre event) { ScaledResolution sr = event.resolution; fr.drawStringWithShadow("Hello, World!", 10, sr.getScaledHeight()-10, -1); } } where i add to event bus @EventHandler public void init(FMLInitializationEvent e) { System.out.println("Init event for test mod."); MinecraftForge.EVENT_BUS.register(new HUD()); } this ^^^ is in the main class i am using forge 11.15.1.1722 1.8.9 recommended i have a friend who made a pvp client and they helped me a bit so i might not be doing this right
