  1. oh bummer- so basically nothing to do about it but use the versions that do work also what's the difference between the files that work and the ones that crash? are they newer?
  2. Hello! I recently got a new laptop so I was downloading minecraft, java, and forge all over again. On my previous computer, forge is fine and I have no problems with it but on this computer it keeps crashing while loading forge-1.15.2-31.2.47 and forge-1.16.4-35.1.15 (the versions i'd ideally like to play) The game crashed whilst initializing game Error: java.lang.IllegalStateException: GLFW error before init: [0x10008]Cocoa: Failed to find service port for display Exit Code: 255 It never gets past the early loading process The strange thing is is that forge-1.12.2-14.23.5.2854 and forge-1.15-29.0.4 work just fine, but they aren't compatible with the mods i'm wishing to use so I really wish there is a fix to this problem thank you so much!!!
