I do not think I have Java installed. It’s not used for anything else we do.

I get this message after downloading the forge .jar file. I am trying to figure out mods for my daughter and the MAC doesn't seem compatible... Here is the message I am getting: forge-1.16.4-35.1.4-installer.jar cannot be opened because it is from an unidentified developer. macOS cannot verify that this app is free from malware.
