I have ~40 mods on my custom modpack, and I deleted one of the mods after it caused me some problems because it was still in beta, and figured it was easier to remove it rather than try to fix it myself. Obviously there are blocks this mod has generated in my world that will be bugged or blank now that the mod is gone, but for some reason every single time the server starts it tries to address the missing entities and recipes rather than removing them, and it's still trying to load in the recipes despite the mod and its config files being gone. This isn't really an error or crash issue, I just can't find a way to fix it and it's causing my server to lag when it tries to load in the missing data.
I've looked all over this forum and googled different ways to phrase my problem but it seems like literally NO ONE has dealt with this before, which I find hard to believe, but maybe no one has cared to ask about it. My server isn't crashing so there isn't a crash report, and the error/warn messages are always the same so rather than including the entire logs file, I'll include the excerpts from my logs where the problems are:
You can even tell that sometimes it removes the unknown thing that is being loaded, but these messages haven't gone away so I feel like that's not even doing anything. And, for the items in the playerdata, will those go away when the players join and edit their inventories, or is that permanent too? I'll try to restart again, but this has happened like 3 times now. I do somewhat understand why entities and blocks are still trying to be loaded and I hope it goes away when those chunks are loaded, but I'm seriously confused by the fact that recipes are still being accessed from a mod that doesn't exist anymore. If anyone knows something about this, please help me out.
