    yes i have java installed, and i've downloaded it from https://files.minecraftforge.net so am just sorta stuck as to what to do

    whenever i go to download forge instead of downloading like a file or something it downloads as an internet explorer jar file and i cant download it and i have no idea what to do or how to fix it please can someone help me? (and for the record i download it on chorme so i dont know why it goes to internet explorer
