  1. @Choonster I greatly appreciate the thorough reply! It's too bad about Tabula, it looks like it could have been a great tool. Here's hoping it'll be finished one day. I'll bring up the baked model system with the mod team, it might not hurt to make the switch before Techne becomes deprecated completely. @Draco18s I appreciate the clarification that it only supports static models. It's too bad, too -- based on choonster's reply, it's the most up-to-date modeling program with a working exporter.
  2. I have been creating models for a particular mod for a couple years now, and have been using Techne for all of them. Here recently, I've heard the 1.8+ updates just make it more and more difficult to use what Techne exports. I'm aware of mrcrayfish's modeler (which is apparently a much better exporter), but from what I've heard it only supports static models and not bipeds (which is what I do most of). If I could get clarification on that I'd greatly appreciate it. Are there any other new tools that are more up-to-date than techne, while also supporting animated models?
  3. I've probably been researching things for the past 5 hours, and I can't seem to find anything that helps. Basically, I'm trying to run a Bukkit server for me and my friends, but things aren't working out. I'm currently using the latest stable release of Bukkit, the most recent DivineRPG (If it's important, this mod requires forge and is already a .jar file), JCommandEssentials, and McMMO. I've currently got all of the .Jar files in the Plugins folder, but I can't seem to find anything that will work to fulfill DivineRPG's Forge needs. I found something online, being BukkitForge (BukkitForge-1.4.7-255, to be exact), but it seems to do nothing. Ever other thing I've found online about giving Bukkit Minecraft forge capabilities has either been outdated or removed. And just in case it's a wonder of if the mods will actually function together, I've got everything running (With the exception of McMMO since that's only Bukkit, however) on a regular Minecraft server with multiple people. If anybody has any tips/suggestions on what to do from here, I'll gladly take them into consideration. If any more info is needed, I'll gladly supply that as well. Thanks! ~ Khranos
