    Having issues installing.

    I recently bought a new Omen laptop. I'm a newb when it come to gaming. Every time I try to download the recommended version of Forge, it downloads, then when I click to install, it tries opening on Google Chrome and downloads it again. For some reason, it will not launch the installer. I have JAVA edition and I followed the steps online. I tried opening with different programs, downloading a later version, and still nothing. Like I said, I'm new to this...
