Uh, huh huh, attack of the idiots today. Forgot META-INF is part of the jar file. I kept thinking folder in .minecraft when you said that. Clearing that out fixed my issue. Thanks for dealing with a noob... -
Not getting anything after installing Forge

http://i1303.photobucket.com/albums/ag146/mantawolf/mc_error_zpsdb5ce12a.jpg[/img] I am not getting any log files or anything. Completely deleted the .minecraft folder, downloaded a new executable. The executable downloaded the required files and started just fine. I closed that out and dropped the files for Forge into the minecraft..jar file and the image is what happens when I start minecraft now. Had no issues until the Minecraft update today.
