    Forge 1.7.10 will not install

    I need some help. I'm trying to install Forge so that I can play some modded Minecraft, but whenever I download the installer and then click on it to install Forge the installer pops up for a fraction of a second and then doesn't do anything. I have the latest version of Java, I've tried over half a dozen different fix-it techniques found on the internet, and I'm just really confused as to why the installer won't work.
