Hi! I'm brand new here, and quite new to modding MC. I'd like to create a forge mod that enables alpha channel support (semi-transparency) on the vanilla hud and gui (namely inventories, recipe book, inventory potion hud, some others). As it is right now, semi-transparency leads to most containers and huds inside containers to be fully opaque. When using JEI, however, I noticed that somehow it causes containers to mostly support semi-transparency. I'm not sure how it does this, and I'd like to create a mod with the sole purpose of enabling this globally. Does anyone have any idea how I'd go about this, what in particular I'd need to change/do? This would be my first mod, so any tips are largely welcome ^^
