So this is where I confess I'm in over my head. I watched a Youtube video on how to get the workspace set up in order to allow my kids to learn some coding while playing with minecraft. I tried to add --stacktrace to the build.gradle file as well as several others and it doesn't seem to generate any sort of log. My google searches haven't been productive either on using the --stacktrace. If you are able to help further and walk me through some of this then that would be great or possibly even point me to some resources to better familiarize myself with this. I have done quite a bit of c and c++ programming when I was in college. I've never jumped into java but was hoping to at least be able to get something running to play with.

Sorry, I added it to the title but I'm using 1.16.4-35.1.4. I checked the log files associated with the mod folder both the latest and debug logs are empty. Is there another log that you are referring to? I just copied what is in the problems tab?

I'm trying to get started in doing some basic minecraft modding, but have been stuck on the workspace setup. Eclipse is giving me the following Error whenever I try importing the project.
