Thank you for the reply. I pulled down a new mod that says it is updated to 1.5.1 and works with Forge. It did work this morning.

I installed Forge Universal build 600 for Minecraft 1.5.1. I had to eventually delete the entire .minecraft folder, reload minecraft 1.5.1, to get Forge to load and work without the black screen after the Mojang logo. I am now trying to install Too Many Items and get the black screen after forge loads and the Mojang logo. I have pasted two logs a pre and post install of TMI. I do not know if this is Forge or Too Many Items. Given the challenges I had getting build 600 to load I am reaching out here first, I receive a black screen if I also attempt to load a 1.5.1 updated mod in the mod folder.
