  3. i do start the forge jar, but literally nothing happens when i start the forge jar
  4. mainly, yknow, a mod folder. im starting it like i used to, via the forge jar. and ive also tried to other mc server jar, but that one wont work properly as a forge server either its not working still. the screenshot wont work and i cant drag and drop the txt nor can i copy whats in it to here

  6. every file thats unique in a forge server. it really just makes a normal mc server with the forge jar
  7. 1.16.5, 36.2.0 and not a good job means that it didnt properly install all the folders and files its supposed to

  9. im trying to host a modded server, and i figure out its not working. i find out, the forge server installer didnt do a good job, so i retry. and retry. reinstall the forge installer. no success. all it does is install a normal mc server with a forge jar that wont do anything. in the process of this, however, i also found out that my other forge servers wont work anymore either. they did work. something broke so hard that older forge versions wont even work anymore
