  3. Hey, it's working now! But when I put the optifine back in, it stops working again. Weird, didn't do that earlier. The optifine version is 1.17.1 as well, so what could be the problem? Also, I want to use forge for mods, but it doesn't seem to work when I place mods in the mod folder. What would you suggest?   4. I have tried removing all mods from the mod folder, made no difference.
  5. Hi, I wanted to try out mods on minecraft for the first time. I downloaded the Forge 1.17.1 installer and installed it in my minecraft folder.
