Running Forge installer I am told that there is no launcher profile at .....\.minecraft\launcher_profiles.json. I went into the .minecraft folder and found that there is instead a file called launcher_profiles_microsoft_store.json, however the Forge installer does not recognise this file as the launcher profile. I tried to rectify the issue by removing the _microsoft_store from the file to make it launcher_profiles.json, at which point the launcher did recognise it. It did its installation process but Forge does not show up on the Minecraft Launcher so my fix did not work.
Is there an alternative I can do to make it work, or do I need to wait for the next update?
