    I have fixed it since making this post i forgot to mark it solved i went through the files and realized there wasnt a file and i fixed it thank you so much

    Hello im trying to post here because im am trying to install the new forge now i know its easy and ive done it before but this is something new that i havnt ran into before can someone help when i try to install forge the installer tells The directory is missing a launcher profile. Please run the minecraft launcher first with i have done i have a world that i play on daily so no need to run the minecraft launcher again or maybe im missing something but then when i click ok it tells me (there is no minecraft launcher in my .minecraft folder please help
