I have downloaded all the required files used jre8 update 311 and used the run.bat ("C:\Program Files\Java\bin\java.exe" -Xmx4096M -Xms4096M -jar forge-1.12.2-14.23.5.2855.jar nogui) but i cannot launch the server with forge.jar only with the server.jar. i have followed other forums that have helped others but none have worked for me.. any help would be appreciated.
