  1. Hi, This is for Minecraft 1.16.5. I have a custom mob that is supposed to die when attacking any entity. I have a custom mob goal that extends MeleeAttackGoal. In this goal, I call this.mob.die(DamageSource.GENERIC) This should kill the mob as goal code is executed on the server thread, however, what ends up happening is that the standard Minecraft death animation plays and the mob looks like it disappeared after death, but it is still there attacking the entity. Additionally, the mob is there once again when the client rejoins the world. This is demonstrated in this video. A link to the code for this is here. Any help would be appreciated.
