    sorry downloaded forge itself not the mdk if you run into this problem, download the mdk from the download page, not forge itself

    I'm trying to get started on modding, but I got stuck pretty fast, in the forge documentation, it tells you to extract forge, however forge extract is not working, and when I read about it is says that you should not extract forge anymore, what am I missing. Can someone help me. I read about it, the file is supposed to be mdk or jar?
