    oh i see, how do i change it so it runs in java 8? im using a run.bat file with "java -Xmx1024M -Xmx1024M -jar forge-1.16.5-36.2.20.jar nogui PAUSE" inside

    im already using java 8 to my knowledge, all the latest java software is installed
